The main emphasis in Panzer design must be based on mobility and firepower, because in the competition between Panzers and anti-tank defenses an indestructible Panzer can be obtained only by increasingly heavier types, which still can't be guaranteed. Cooperation of the weapons branches can never be too close. The antitank defense front must be shaken by artillery fire and the attack of the infantry to such an extent that the Panzer attack can quickly overrun the position. More importantly, the Panzers must be in a position to wipe out anti-tank defense II II 45 fronts at increased ranges with their own fire or so cripple them that it is possible for the attack to advance.
