Ishbu sucked the end of his tail for comfort. Miles from home. Alone. Lost in a bad part of town. What had he gotten himself into? He stifled a whimper. ” a voice growled behind him. Ishbu turned around. ” he squeaked. A tough-looking ferret stood in the street. “You’re coming with us,” he said. Two more scruffy ferrets flanked him like soldiers. Ishbu tried to run, but the chase didn’t last long. The ferrets grabbed his legs, pinning him to the ground. The last thing Ishbu saw was a huge paw raised to strike.
