These same elements have also given the center a capability described as "technical agility," or the ability to adapt and adjust resources to meet constantly changing needs. 13 The People Without question, the facilities themselves and the Center's unique environment have played a big role in the contributions Dryden has made over the years. But another of the Center's most valuable resources has always been its people. From its very earliest days, it took a special kind of individual to work at the desert station.
