There was not much in the way of trees, as if people didn't want to block the view of Sugarloaf to the west, or Bray Head immediately to the east. And it was a handsome view. How can I just go up and knock on the door and ask if there are wizards there ? But that was exactly what she needed to do, and there was no way out of it. Nita went up and rang the bell. Oh good , Nita was just thinking,no-one's in . when the door was abruptly pulled open. It was Ronan, from the chicken place. He looked at her in astonishment.
That way led towards Kilquade and Kilcoole and Newcastle with its little church. This road climbed and dipped over a little bridge that crossed a dry river; up between high hedges. There came a point where there was a right turn, and a signpost pointing down between two more high hedges, towards Kilquade. Nita took it, making her way down the narrow road. The houses here were built well away from one another, even though they were quite small; some were larger, though.

Well, it's happened to me three times in the past two days, and I don't mind telling you that I don't like it very much. " Ronan said. "We're notallowed to go sideways.
